Tóm tắt: The current study draws on social exchange theory to examine the effects of organisational embeddedness and its dimensions of fit, links and sacrifice on affective commitment, and mediating effects of job satisfaction and work engagement on the relationships. A convenient sample of 274 full‒time frontline employees were selected from four 4–star and one 5‒star hotels in Ghana, at two separate times. PROCESS Macro was employed to test hypotheses. Results of the study show that organisational embeddedness and all its dimensions were positively related to affective commitment. Job satisfaction and work engagement partially mediated the effects of organisational embeddedness, and organisational links, fit and sacrifice on affective commitment. Theoretical and practical implications of the findings are discussed.
